Allan Chesang Foundation Expands Borehole Drilling Initiative in Trans-Nzoia County

The Allan Chesang Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to transforming lives through access to clean and reliable water. On June 6th June last year, the Foundation successfully drilled a borehole at St. Emmanuel Mixed High School in Trans-Nzoia County. This borehole will not only provide safe drinking water to students but will also benefit the larger community. To date, the Foundation has drilled over 25 boreholes across different parts of the county, with many more planned in the near future.

“Our mission is to ensure that every school and community in Trans-Nzoia has access to clean water. With every drill, we bring hope and a better future to thousands of people,” said Hon. Allan Chesang, Founder of the Allan Chesang Foundation.

Continued Commitment to Clean Water Access

The water borehole drilling initiative has made significant progress in 2024. Recent milestones include:

  • Mukuyuni Primary School, Kwanza Constituency (February 4, 2025): Ensuring a steady supply of clean water for students and the surrounding community.
  • Kitale School, Saboti Constituency (February 6, 2025): A crucial investment in the school’s infrastructure to promote a better learning environment.
  • Maridadi Primary School, Kwanza Constituency (February 1, 2025): A step closer to ensuring every ward in the county has access to clean water.
  • Kapkai Primary (Keiyo Ward) & Korosiot Primary (Kwanza Ward) (January 30, 2025): Furthering the mission of sustainable water access for all.

Hon. Allan Chesang emphasized the importance of partnerships in this mission: “Water is life, and no community should struggle to access it. We invite stakeholders, partners, and well-wishers to join us in making clean water available to all.”

Looking Ahead

The Allan Chesang Foundation is dedicated to expanding its water accessibility initiatives to all 25 wards in Trans-Nzoia County. These boreholes are part of a larger effort to improve education, sanitation, and public health outcomes in the region.

“While I may not be present everywhere physically, my commitment remains unwavering. No community will be left behind in our journey to ensure sustainable access to clean water,” Hon. Allan Chesang reaffirmed.

As we continue to dig deeper, we remain focused on our goal: empowering communities and transforming lives through sustainable solutions.
