The Allan Chesang Foundation continues its mission of supporting vulnerable communities through impactful food distribution programs across Trans-Nzoia County. In 2024, the foundation has successfully expanded its reach, ensuring that thousands of families, students, and flood-affected individuals receive much-needed food supplies.

Feeding Schools and Special Needs Institutions

In Kitale, the foundation donated over 800 loaves of bread to multiple schools, including Columba’s School for the Deaf. This initiative not only provided essential nourishment but also highlighted the challenges faced by special needs schools, particularly the struggle to maintain a sustainable feeding program. The foundation is actively seeking long-term solutions and partners to support such institutions.

Dry Food Feeding Program During Easter

As part of the Easter humanitarian outreach, the foundation organized a large-scale food distribution program across several constituencies in Trans-Nzoia County. 

Thousands of food bags were distributed in partnership with stakeholders and the Friends of Allan Chesang Foundation, ensuring that families in need had access to nutritious meals during the festive season.

Flood Relief Efforts in Lurare Kapomboi Ward

Severe floods displaced many families in Lurare Kapomboi Ward, leaving them in dire need of assistance. In response, Hon. Allan Chesang led a food relief mission, distributing essential food items and other necessities to affected families. The foundation remains committed to supporting disaster-stricken communities and advocating for long-term solutions to mitigate such crises.

Community Outreach in Kapkoi & Lokichar

The foundation extended its reach to Kapkoi (Sisal, Waitaluk Ward) and Lokichar (Kaisagat Location, Kwanza Ward), distributing dry food supplies. This initiative emphasized the foundation’s belief that food brings people together, fostering unity and strengthening communities.
